If you have been following along with New Momma Survival, you know that I only shop for affordable, comfortable and multi-use pieces. I have been working on building a wardrobe that I can wear for years, not just for one season. I have discovered an amazing brand that has the perfect investment pieces for mothers! Mayarya is a women’s clothing boutique that specializes in pieces that are bump-friendly, but not bump-only. Founded by a mother looking for pieces that were multi-functional, Reika Kato Shetty has provded style solutions before during and after pregnancy! We plan to try for another baby in the next couple of years, so investing in some items that I can wear now and when I am pregnant is smart for both my wallet and my closet space.
Everything I ordered was so incredibly comfortable, yet stylish and modern. I felt so put together with little effort.
I was given these pieces for review. All opinions are my own. To read my full disclosure click here.
This Dotted Print Bow dress is perfect for a date night or any upcoming holiday parties. It was flattering, yet loose around the tummy. (Things I always look for in a dress, because I like to eat and I don’t want to worry about my little food baby showing at a party!)
The empire waist will be perfect for a growing baby bump someday and the just-above the knee length is my favorite. (Especially when you have to bend down to pick up kiddos!)
The bow detail and flowy sheer sleeves is just right up my alley. With buttons down the front, this dress would be great for nursing mothers as well!
My Cocoon Coat is also from Mayraya, and worked perfectly with this dress. I love how soft this coat is! I have gotten compliments on it every time I wear it.
For a recent girls night out, I paired the Daikanyama skirt with the Galle top. I tied the shirt in the front to add some definition to my waist. The best part…. this skirt is water-resistant! How perfect is this!? Shrug off spills, stains and sticky fingers, momma.
Mayayra offers free shipping and easy returns, so shopping online is a breeze.
On their website they have these icons to show if the piece is nursing friendly, maternity friendly, and if you are not expecting.
When I was pregnant six years ago, there were not many maternity options that I knew of. I shopped mostly at Target, that had few options, and occasionally at maternity stores in the mall, which were a far drive for me. So guess what? I lived in leggings. Yep. I was that pregnant lady that just wore leggings almost every day for 9 months, then probably 3 or 4 months after having my son.
I did NOT feel great about the way I looked. I never let my boyfriend take my photo while I was pregnant, which I really regret now. And I just didn’t feel happy or “glowing” like I thought I would. I was afraid of wearing certain clothes because I thought I had to “dress like a Mom”… whatever that even means!
Where what you want, when you want! If wearing leggings every day makes you feel good, do it! If you feel more put together wearing a dress and heels, go for it!

Haha, I love that I’m not the only person who plans her outfits around whether I will be eating a lot at a social outing! I’ve never been pregnant, but those food babies are a real fashion struggle sometimes!
lol YES girl !
What lovely outfits for any part of your pregnancy journey! Nothing beats versatile pieces that you can wear at any time.
That seems like a fun girls night out especially being a mom. I love your friends red jacket!
It was !! I wish we had them more often!
Long maxi dresses were my go
To during pregnancy. I was able to wear them before and after baby and saved a lot of money since I never had to buy maternity clothes.
Yes! I wish my third trimester was in the warmer months, that would have been a huge $$ saver!
