Father’s Day Gentleman’s Spa Gift Basket For Your Hubby

Who says a manly man can’t get pampered?? My hard-working husband deserves some extra love and pampering this year. This Father’s Day I am gifting my hubby a spa day in a basket, with high quality products he will actually use. I put together this gift basket that I am sure he is going to love! I hope this gives you some inspiration to create your own Father’s Day Gentleman’s Spa Gift Basket For Your Hubby.

When putting together this gift basket, I knew I wanted to get my hubby a new grooming system. His razor is ancient and it was time for an upgrade. He never buys himself anything self-care related so I am hoping this basket will make him spend an afternoon having an at-home pamper day to relax. When it comes to body grooming for men, Manscaped is now the biggest name in the business! I have seen their commercials that honestly make me blush and giggle because I am just way too immature for it. But I’ve read a lot of reviews and heard really great things! Plus, what appears as a gift for him, is really a gift for you! Ya know what I mean?

I recently learned about their partnership with the Testicular Cancer Society and knew I wanted to work with this brand. Their mission is to make a more open and confident male culture that results in guys being way more proactive around self-care and health. Their goal is to raise awareness about the most common form of cancer in men age 15-35 and provide help and support to fighters, survivors, and caregivers. You hear a lot about the signs and treatments and organizations that help to fight breast cancer and cervical cancer, but I don’t often hear about testicular cancer. It is estimated that 8,000 to 10,000 men will develop testis cancer each year! The chance of developing testis cancer is about one in 270. That seems like a pretty high number!

Thank you to Manscaped for collaborating with me on this Father’s Day gift basket! As always, all opinions are my own.

Manscaped Refined Cologne- $49.99

This light, yet masculine fragrance is Hypoallergenic, Cruelty Free, Dye Free, Paraben Free, and Vegan! A little goes a long way with this cologne so I know he will get a lot of use out of it.

DIY Beard Oil

A couple weeks ago my husband shaved off his beard with no warning at all! He is now left with an 80s cop mustache and though I still think he looks amazing, I am hoping this beard oil will give him the hint that I miss his mountain man beard!

Beard oil recipe:

  • 2 drops of lavender
  • 5 drops of frankincense
  • 5 drops of cedarwood
  • 3 drops of orange

Start with an empty and clean amber dropper bottle. Add in your essential oils of choice, and then fill with a carrier oil to just below the neck of the bottle. I used a combination of hemp seed oil and jojoba oil. These carrier oils are both really great for the skin!

DIY Bath Salts

I filled a glass mason jar with a mix of Epsom salts and pink Himalayan salt and added in a couple drops of cedarwood essential oil. I made a label and wrapped twine around the neck of the jar a couple times.

Bamboo Hair Comb

This wood comb is wide tooth on one end and fine tooth on the other.

Loofah on a rope

I love natural loofahs! They exfoliate the skin so well and this one is on a rope so you can hang it up in the shower.

To keep the items in the basket propped up, I ripped and crinkled up a large old brown paper bag. Then I sprinkled some brown crinkle paper I had on hand (Dollar Tree sells bags of these). This helped keep the items from sinking to the bottom of the basket.

A Smaller Version of the Father’s Day Gentleman’s Spa Gift Basket For Your Hubby:

I put together this smaller basket for another option as well! Maybe your hubby is not a big bath taker so the bath salts wouldn’t get used. I skipped the cologne in this one too, because I know some men are just really picky about their fragrances. This one has the Manscaped Lawnmower 4.0, the DIY beard oil, and the Ultra Smooth Package kit. All in a smaller basket from Target.

My label maker I use for all my DIY bath and body products:

Free printable gift tag and card

I made this gift tag for you to print off and fill out! Print this out on card-stock, use a hole punch in the corner and tie this to your basket with some twine.

Or you can print this out as a landscape folding greeting card here. The inside is blank so you can write a comical or sexy message to your hubby. Print it out landscape on card-stock and fold in half.

I hope this gave you some ideas to make your own gift basket for your hubby this year! What would you add to the basket?

Yesterday we visited @seaquestlynchburg and had su Yesterday we visited @seaquestlynchburg and had such an amazing time ! The highlights were the stingrays showing off and squirting water at us, and the birds eating out of Liam's hand. For Theodore, it was all just fascinating. Every animal got an "ooo" and "awww" and wide eyes and a pudgy little finger pointing at it or a little hand excitedly waving high.
Then we spent some time at the little toddler play area in the mall where Theo hugged every kid there and had the biggest smile on his face the whole time.
I would say this week's homeschool field trip was a success!
Next week we're checking out our local library, and the week after that, the children's museum.
It's always so fun to explore a new area. ☺️

I don't always get a few quiet moments to myself, I don't always get a few quiet moments to myself, but when I do, I make the most of it !
I put on a homemaker or homesteading podcast, light a candle, sip hot tea...
It gives me time to slow down and take deep breaths, and relax a bit. (And I'll be honest, this time often also has a good snack involved or some dark chocolate I hid on the top shelf of the pantry 😆)

I spent some time yesterday during nap time restocking some herbs in my new apothecary cabinet. I filled jars of nettle, peppermint, red raspberry leaf, and rosemary. These dark amber jars are on Amazon and pretty perfect for storing herbs !
I'm dreaming of what herbs I'll be drying from my garden to add to these shelves 🤩

I'm curious- if you use herbs in your home, what are your top 3 most used ?
S'mores, burning brush, snuggling up with a blanke S'mores, burning brush, snuggling up with a blanket, and admiring our new house on the hill.

We've been busy setting up our new home, finding places for everything, and thrifting some furniture. Theo is already use to the new house and his new room. He loves the playroom in the basement and having a real bath tub!
Liam had his first playdate on Friday, and we're planning out his lego table this week. Nate has been busy fixing things around the house and helping me hang art and things all over.
It feels good to be finding a new rythm again. To have a regular bath night, and cooking big meals we eat around the table my grandpa built. We're dreaming of the garden this Spring, what fencing we can put up for animals, what color to paint the house...
and it just feels so so good to be in our own home again where we can do what we want and plan and dream for the future.
We got this gorgeous 1964 Thomasville china hutch We got this gorgeous 1964 Thomasville china hutch for $100 off FB marketplace! 🤩 It took 2 trips an hour away to bring this big gal home.
This is by far my most favorite piece of furniture I've ever owned. My original plan for this piece was to hold and display all my china, tea cups, and table linens.
But I also needed storage for all my herbs, herbal books, tinctures, salves, etc. I added a few jars of herbs and knew this needed to be a moody apothecary cabinet stat!
I threw a bunch of other decor and little things I love in there. I'm sure I'll rearrange it a dozen times before I love it. My goal is for two whole shelves to be filled with dried herbs from our garden by Fall. 🤍
I've got candles in a drawer, tablecloths in another, and the top drawer is random things, supplies and tinctures. The right cupboard is holding all my vases & jars, and the left cupboard is holding all my herbal and homesteading magazines.

What is the best FB marketplace find you've scored ??
I think this is my favorite!
I stopped by a children's resale store today after I stopped by a children's resale store today after Theo & I finally got in to see a chiropractor.
Best $18 I've spent, my goodness. He's been going down over and over, giggling and being silly and saying "ooo". When we go to a park, it's hard to get this kid away from the slide, so I would say sliding is one of his hobbies 😆
I just never want to forget this age. I can barely remember Liam when he was around this age - 17 months old is crazy and exhausting, but so so fun!
He wants to do what we are doing- putting on his shoes, brushing his teeth, combing his hair... he already wants to be a "big boy" and do things himself, but he still loves his mama sooo much and wants to snuggle all day long. 🤍
