I have three boys ranging from one year to almost 12 years old, so I have a pretty good idea what toys and gifts are a hit or a miss. I am SO excited about some of the gifts I got my three old this year, I thought I would share them with you, in case you need some ideas for this age range. I will have a gift guide for my one year old and almost 12 year old, coming soon! So here is my 2024 Christmas gift guide for three year old boys.

Here is my list of what I bought my three year old for Christmas this year:
Kinetic Sand Construction Kit– My son adores kinetic sand and of course construction vehicles, so I know this one will be a hit! Currently on sale for $17.99
The Yoto Mini Player- This is actually a gift for both my littles. I am SO excited about this one. My hope is that this will help cut back on screen time, something we have struggled with this year. If you are unfamiliar with this device, it is a screen-free travel bluetooth audio player for kids where they can listen on speaker or with headphones. There are 1000+ cards of bestselling audiobooks, music, educational activities, free podcasts, radio, soundscapes, timers or even create content with a Make Your Own card. I am buying some Paw Patrol cards, the Eric Carle set, and some classic nursery rhymes. price: $70 (+ if you need to buy headphones)
Melissa and Doug Paw Patrol Magnetic Play Set- We have a magnetic play set like this one from when my first child was this age, and we still use it. My three year old is currently in a Paw Patrol phase, so I know he will really enjoy this one. On sale for: $13.69
Melissa and Doug Decorate Your Own Wood Car and Monster Truck Set– I am giving one to my three year old, and the other to my one year old, probably in their stockings. My boys always love to paint wood toys. It is a good rainy or cold afternoon activity. on sale for: $13.99
Melissa and Doug Let’s Explore Camp Stove Play Set– my boys always love to play camping, and he always wants to play with our real camping gear, so this will be a fun thing all three of my boys can play with together. on sale for : $35.80
Melissa and Doug Boo Boo Play kit– I think all kids go through a phase of being obsessed with bandaids! I think this will be a really fun thing for my two littles. They can put them on themselves or on stuffed animals. price: $14.99
B. Toys Pretend Play Sink – I don’t know if I am gifting this one to my one year old or my three year old, but they will both play with this and love this! My boys are obsessed with washing dishes and playing in the water. This will have to be a supervised toy, or an outside toy. So cute ! on sale for: $13.99
Cash Register Toy– this is not the exact one I bought, but I wish I did. I actually may return the one I got from Target and get this one instead, because it is just so sweet. The price is a little steep for this toy, but maybe it will go on sale! price: $54.99
More ideas (these are either toys we already own and love or they are on my son’s wishlist)
Wood Fire Truck Toy– on sale for : $36.54
Magnetic Road Toppers– We have this exact set and my boys LOVE them. If you have kids who are magnatile-obsessed like mine, the road toppers add even more fun and creativity. price: $30 + there is a 30% off coupon to click!
Remote Control Car– we don’t have this specific one, but we do have a couple cheap RC cars like this, and they are so much fun. I think I am actually going to add this one to his wishlist… price: $30
Emergency Vehicle 3D Puzzle– I saw someone sharing about this on Instagram, and it looks fun! I think this would be a great activity to do during my older son’s homeschool lessons. price: $26.99
Bluey Scavenger Hunt Game– My best friend has this board game, and says it is a good one. price:$14.99
Montessori Lock & Keys with numbers Set– another good quiet educational activity I think my son will love. price: on sale for $18.99
Sand Painting Light Box- how calming is this? I think my whole family would enjoy this one. price: $24.99
And to go with the light box…
Wood Building Blocks– on sale (+ a clickable coupon) for : $29.99
Battat Bristle Blocks– a classic building toy. This could maybe even work as a restaurant toy? price: 14.95
Noah’s Ark Educational Board Game– this is another one my friend has for her three year old, and she loves it. I think this would be a great game to do as a family with littles. price: $34.99
Magnetic Wood Dinosaurs– I love that most Melissa and Doug toys come in a wood box- toys that come in their own storage are the best! Perfect for in the car on a cookie sheet, or on the fridge, magnets are so fun. price: $12.79
11 Piece Kids Real Kitchen Utensils– my son begs to help me in the kitchen every single day. I have this set on his Amazon wishlist because I think he would love to be able to chop things up himself without getting cut from a regular knife. If you have a kiddo who loves to help out in the kitchen, this set plus a little apron would be the sweetest gift! My son already has a little apron that my sister made him. price: $18.99 + $5 off coupon
Binoculars for kids– Kid-sized binoculars that are focus-free and feature large comfy eyepieces. price: on sale for $9.69
Kids Digital Camera– We got this camera as a collab, and my son LOVES it! He takes pictures and videos all the time, it’s been so fun to see what he captures. It is really high-quality, too. My son has dropped his camera multiples times and it still works ! price: $64.99
