I don’t do an entire gift basket for each boy every single year. Some years it’s a card and a chocolate, and that is it. But some years I do enjoy loving on my boys for Valentine’s Day and making it extra special with a whole basket of treats. Last year was a very difficult year for my family, so I am sprinkling in magic and extra love when I can. But I do try to stay mindful what comes into my home, so I don’t want a basket full of junky things that will just get thrown away over time. I filled all three of my boy’s love baskets mainly with consumable items, along with one book each, and then each child got one thing that was just for fun. I have an 18 month, a 3 year old, and a 12 year old. I am excited to bless my boys with these gifts on Valentine’s Day!

The white rope baskets are from Target, and I already had and use them to store toys. We also already had some pink and red play silks I used as the basket filler.
The bath bomb can be used by both my littles, as they take baths together. I figure the flower Lego set will be a fun thing to build with my 12 year old one night after the littles are asleep. My three year old is a hat kid- he wants to wear a hat every single day, so this new firetruck hat will be a hit. I just tried to get food that I know they like, in either red or pink packaging.
I plan to have these waiting for my boys on the kitchen table Valentine’s Day morning. I ordered some organic strawberry syrup to make pink strawberry milk, and I am going to attempt to make heart shaped pancakes.
