This past weekend was my church’s annual Spring Women’s Ministry brunch/tea party, and it was as lovely as ever! I had the pleasure of hosting a table this year, which means I got to decorate a table. Hosting parties, and especially TEA parties, are absolutely my jam, and I have thrown many! As excited as I was to host a table, I had a VERY tight budget this time. And even still, I think it turned out really pretty, so I wanted to share it with you! If you are looking for frugal ways to throw your own tea party or maybe a tea party bible study, or a ladies luncheon at your own church’s women ministry… I got you!
Almost everything paper is from Christy Beasley Creative which is a printable art subscription. This is a subscription I have had for several years and use it so many ways. Once you are a member, you get access to every collection and can search for specific things you are looking for. There are so many beautiful faith focused printables, but there are also unit studies for kids, cards and envelopes, art, posters, table decor etc. I found so many perfect printables for this ladies brunch! All the decor I already owned, so I didn’t have to buy anything for this tea party. I did buy the fresh flowers, but I wanted them for my front porch anyways. I always try to use what I already own, and you should too! And if you really cannot find anything in your home that works for your gathering, head to the thrift store. There is no need to buy new.

My church provided the plates, napkins and cutlery, and I did the rest. I do have an entire matching china set, but it was really nice to not have to lug all those plates to the church! Disposable plates can be so convenient for events like this.

I did a mix-matched set of tea cups for a shabby chic look. The saucers were all the same.

The tablecloth is Pioneer Woman brand from Walmart.

Each lady received the Seeds of Faith packets, a bookmark, a little tea bag with scripture on it, and a scripture card that was on their seat. I SO wish I took photos of the seeds of faith packets laid out- they are just darling! I did two packets for each lady tied together with twine, and in each envelope was a whole stack of gorgeous scripture cards. These took the most time to make, but I think it was worth it. You print the envelopes on regular printer paper, cut and glue them together. Then you print all the different scripture cards on cardstock and assemble.
The bookmarks I printed out on cardstock, laminated, punched a hole at the top and added different scrap ribbons.

This Easter Hymns table runner was a hit! I had several ladies come over to ask where I got it and was shocked when I said I just printed it out and taped the pages together.

This framed art is also from Christy Beasley Creative. The frame is from Dollar Tree. The main centerpiece is a galvanized tin container I got from Hobby Lobby a couple years ago. The only thing I purchased for this brunch were these fresh flowers from Lowes. I tied a piece of lace ribbon around the container to give the rustic metal a little feminine touch. The bunny salt and pepper shakers are so sweet! I think I got those a few years ago from the Bullseye section at Target.

I added sugar cubes to an extra tea cup, because sugar cubes are just too fun. I also had raw sugar in the sugar bowl.
