🦋🌷🌞🐌Happy Spring ! 🪻🐥💐🦋 T 🦋🌷🌞🐌Happy Spring ! 🪻🐥💐🦋

Today is launch day for the Spring edition of Botanical Anthology! A plant lover’s dream, it is a seasonal, plant centered digital quarterly publication bringing you over 55 articles from 42 contributors to incorporate herbs in your apothecary, kitchen, spring foraging and gardening, crafts, and celebrations.

One of my contributions is a tutorial for these beautiful natural air fresheners. Floral wax sachets are really fun to create and make gorgeous gifts.
This publication is packed full of so much plant goodness....

* Sip on carrot ginger shrub, chaga dandelion latte + nettle ginger beer
* Stuff magnolia leaves, make spring soups + bake a viola cake
* Whip up a lilac toner, steep spring bitters, + infuse a chaparral oil
* Forage hawthorn, red clover + tree buds
* Grow sea buckthorn + an herbal tea garden
* Create confetti egg poppers, dye with tulips + make wax sachets
* Celebrate Spring Equinox, Beltane, Earth Day, Mother’s Day + Father's Day with simple observances
*Meet Lauren May of Must Love Herbs

And so much more !

From March 20th – 29th, receive the Botanical Anthology Spring edition download, plus our bonus nettle booklet download, for just $20. Come next week, the nettle booklet will no longer be included, and the price will increase.

My little leprechaun cheesin' because I let him li My little leprechaun cheesin' because I let him lick the frosting spoon 😆

We've had a festive St. Patrick's Day so far. We started the day with spinach pancakes & blueberry muffins, Liam has a friend over, so I made some sugar cookies with green fosting & sprinkles for a treat.
I have corned beef and cabbage in the crock pot for dinner tonight, the kids and I are wearing our green, and we've got a good stack of St. Patrick's Day books to read tonight.
It doesn't take much to make these "smaller" holidays to a more magical, memorable level, without spending money.
May your St. Patty's Day be a good one, friends!
🍀
We tried hammer printing some clovers today, but t We tried hammer printing some clovers today, but they didn't really turn out. So we grabbed some green ink and made some clover (and a few other small leaves) ink impressions instead! Perfect excuse to sit in the sunshine, play with plants, and talk about the history of Saint Patrick and what he did for Ireland. We also like to compare the 3 leaf clover to the trinity. 3 separate leaves, but one plant.

We took an early gender test with this baby becaus We took an early gender test with this baby because I just could not wait to find out.
I'm finally getting around to sharing
our little secret....
IT'S A BOY!
#boymom💙 of three !
His name is Benjamin (middle name still to be decided), and he is already so so loved.

He will be sharing the nursery with Theodore someday, and I can already here the giggles and pitter-patter of little feet that will come from that little boy room.

What a difference it is this time around preparing for another baby! Liam and Theo have an 8 year age gap, so I had to basically start completely from scratch with Theo. The clothes I had kept of Liam's were either so worn/elastic shot from age, or the wrong season.
Benjamin and Theodore will have birthday's not even a month apart, so the seasons line up quite perfectly. We have just about everything we need. I just need to get the adapter piece for my stroller to convert it into a 2-seater. And to stock up on diapers, of course. Though now we finally live in a house where cloth diapering will be much easier. I cloth diapered Liam at home and used disposable when we were out and about. We have a basement sink that would work pretty perfectly for that.
I'm also excited for Theo to have someone to grow up and play with. This is something Liam just never had, and it does make me a little sad that he didn't get to experience having a playmate. Liam does play with Theo now, but a 10 year old and 18 month old can only play so many ways.

I knew it was a boy before we found out. I had a dream of 3 boys running around a mountain farm and it kind of reminded me of Legends of The Fall (my fav movie). Bring on the Carhartts, muck boots, trucks, mud puddles, nerf guns, superheros and cowboy hats. I was meant to be a boy mom ! 🤍
The only time this one is sitting still is when he The only time this one is sitting still is when he is sleeping 😆
Theo has started carrying his Peter Rabbit stuffy around with him everywhere and sleeping with it. He took a baby bottle and tried to feed it the other day, too. 💕 His love for rabbits is fitting since his room is kind of peter rabbit theme. Copper (our bunny) is his buddy, and every time he sees a bunny or really any small animal, he says "awww" all high pitched and so sweetly.
I have a feeling he is going to be a really sweet big brother.
